For Marvy Green's new store opening in Rotterdam's Zwaanshals neighborhood, I developed a comprehensive event identity that manifested store signage, posters and a beer can design in collaboration with Brouwerij Noordt.

For Marvy Green's new store opening in Rotterdam's Zwaanshals neighborhood, I developed a comprehensive event identity that manifested store signage, posters and a beer can design in collaboration with Brouwerij Noordt.

The objective was to create a distinctive beer can design that would convey Marvy Green's personality, values, and team spirit. It was essential to align the event identity's visual style with the existing brand language, colors, and motifs. We also wanted to honor our partners at Brouwerij Noord by drawing inspiration from their existing can designs while still staying true to the Marvy brand. We would then use this design to brand the event as a whole.

Dove into Marvy Green's community driven brand and Brouwerij Noordt's industrial aesthetic. Explored collective member's perspectives and ideas.

Researched visual themes that represented the Marvy Green brand, focusing on community, green initiatives, and artistry. Prioritized the can design, then scaled elements for event materials.

Developed the custom can, blending Marvy Green's organic shapes and playful illustrations with Noordt's background patterns and beer information design. I Extended this visual language to posters and social media. Collaborated closely with the Marvy Green team, incorporating feedback to refine designs.

This event identity was a pivotal project for me. It was one of the few non-digital projects I got to work on this year. After becoming accustomed to creating work purely in the digital space, it was deeply rewarding to watch people drinking and celebrating Marvy through a physical can design that I made.

This experience reminded me why design is so moving to me. This project provided invaluable experience in collaborative brand integration and designing for unique print formats. I honed several skills in translating brand values into tangible designs and managing iterative team feedback.
